1. Introduction

Audiology Website Builders ("we," "us," or "our") operates the platform at audiologywebsitebuilders.net (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our Service. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

  • Create an account (name, email address, password)
  • Complete onboarding (practice name, doctor name, address, phone number, services offered)
  • Communicate with us (support requests, feedback)
  • Subscribe to a paid plan (billing information is processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)

We also collect certain information automatically when you use the Service, including:

  • Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies
  • Usage data (features used, actions taken within the platform)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Generate AI-powered marketing content (website copy, ad campaigns, blog posts) using your practice data
  • Process billing and payments through Stripe
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, service updates)
  • Respond to your comments and support requests
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the Service
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions and abuse

4. AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate website content, ad copy, and other marketing materials based on the practice information you provide during onboarding. By providing this information, you grant us permission to send it to Anthropic's API for the purpose of generating your content. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their own privacy policy at anthropic.com. We do not sell your practice data to third parties.

5. HIPAA Notice

Our platform is a digital marketing tool and is not designed to store, process, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA. Do not enter patient names, medical records, diagnosis information, or any other PHI into the platform. If you require HIPAA-compliant software for patient management, please use a dedicated EHR or practice management system.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who assist in operating the Service (Supabase for database hosting, Anthropic for AI generation, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting)
  • Law enforcement or legal processes when required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your account, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. AI-generated content associated with your account will also be deleted upon account closure.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of marketing emails (you may still receive transactional messages)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@audiologywebsitebuilders.net.

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze platform usage. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies, but some features of the Service may not function properly without them.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
